This is a working notebook made public: a record of problems encountered while building and running real websites, and what actually fixed them.
What you will find here
Articles come out of real diagnosis rather than research. If something here says a setting was wrong, it was wrong on a real installation, and the fix was verified before it was written down. Where a measurement contradicted an assumption, the correction stays in the article, because the wrong turn is usually the useful part.
How it is written
Every article aims to answer the question in the first paragraph, then show the working. Where a figure helps, it is drawn rather than sourced, so it depicts the thing being described instead of decorating the page.
The raw material is first-hand: build logs, configuration files, error output, test results and screenshots from the work itself. AI tools help turn that record into readable prose, drafting and condensing it, and every article is reviewed and edited before it is published. Nothing is described as done unless it was done: when an article says a fix worked, it worked on a real installation.
- Screenshots are real captures of the screen being described.
- Charts and diagrams are drawn from the data they show, never generated.
- Header and section illustrations are AI-generated and decorative; they never stand in for evidence.
